About The Designer

Cheryl "Finn" Finnegan

In 2000 , after a 14-year career in marketing, Finn moved to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, where she was inspired by the art and magic of the colonial town.
Her business started as an obsession with the Virgin of Guadalupe and Mexican folklore, which she translated into a keychain, then a necklace – and soon, John Galliano wore a VSA belt buckle on his Paris runway!
In 2008, Cheryl Finnegan was acknowledged for her achievement in design with her induction into the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA).
